The "Dick-Art" gallery was established in 1991, and is the biggest gallery of antique art in Lodz today. It is renowned throughout Poland for its extensive display. The specialties of the gallery are the antique side arms and armoury from the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries.

The gallery is owned by Ryszard Janiak, who is a founder member of the Polish society of antiques dealers. Mr. Janiak is also a member of the "Napoleonic Society of America" and an honorary member of the Andrzej Zaremby Club of Lovers of Polish Military, of New York.
